The Marcellus Gilmore 

Named after the guy who put peanut butter on the map. So we put it in a burger & named it after him.

Aged beef patty, queso fresco, salsa macha, peanut butter, smoked garlic mayo, demi brioche bun. No gimmicks, just big flavour. £16, worth the chat.

DAVE THE KEYS

Dave The Keys is playing the last Friday of every month from 9pm

Dave’s back behind the keys with a night of live, request-led music that covers pretty much everything. The Cure to Chas ‘n’ Dave, Kraftwerk to the Kinks, Britney to The Beatles.

Call out a song and he’ll play it. If he doesn’t know it, he’ll get it ready for next time. Proper pub piano, done right.

BEER SPOTLIGHT

You lot have been rinsing two East London Brewing favourites lately.

Walthamstow Green Hopped is brewed with locally grown green Prima Donna hops from the Walthamstow Beer Project, now in its 12th year. Soft malt lets the hops do the talking, with notes of marmalade and tangerine leading into a lightly spicy, blackcurrant finish and a clean, medium bitterness.

Lido is a light, fruity summer pale. It starts with lemon biscuit, moves into bright grapefruit, then settles into a gentle, herbal finish that keeps it super easy to drink.

Both are on now from our East London Brewing mates and they are flying out. Grab one next time you are in.
